The church, Our Lady of the Abandoned Parish in Marikina, was requested by my grandmother. I studied Kinder and Elementary in Marikina Catholic School right beside the OLA Parish. The church played an important part of my childhood days. That’s exactly where I had my first communion, confirmation, Kinder graduation, and my first Friday masses.
